Consistent posting with refined tone of voice helped to increase social media audience organically by 1300%
I managed Club Mexicana’s social media from 2017-2020, having worked with the brand since 2015. I helped develop the 100% vegan brand’s outspoken, confident and kind tone, in line with its trailblazing position as London’s best street food business (2018 and 2019, Time Out). In this role, I devised a strategy of original photography, caption-led posts, hashtags, brand announcements, influencer takeovers and competitions.
One of the most rewarding parts of this position was engaging with vegan food bloggers for takeovers and launch events, right on the wave of veganism becoming a hot-topic and trend in London. In time our community of vegan bloggers became one of our biggest assets, supporting Club Mexicana both over social and in-person for new site launches and new menu items. By 2020, I’d helped to organically increase Club Mexicana’s social media audience from 2,000 to 28,000.
